Culture Date with Dublin 8 returns from 4th -10th May with a vibrant week-long programme of over 100 events celebrating the culture, history, and community spirit of the area.

This year’s festival is shaped by two themes: Songlines of the City, inviting audiences to explore Dublin 8 through memory, movement and imagination, and Gulliver 300, marking the 300th anniversary of Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels.

From talks, tours and exhibitions to live music, performance and the Late in D8 programme, which animates the neighbourhood after dark, the festival opens up iconic and unexpected spaces, inviting audiences to discover Dublin 8 in new and inspiring ways.
